The internet is home to literally hundreds, if not thousands of eco sites. These websites can be strictly informational in nature or can be retail dealers of products and services. Many of these websites are for non-profit organizations.

Most environmental groups have eco sites on the internet. These websites are often for mainstream groups, but more radicalized fringe elements can also be found. However, the majority of these sites offer a great deal of information about the environment and ecological concerns

Eco sites related to global warming and rainforest concerns are very prevalent on the internet. Many of these sites can provide contact information for your local governmental representatives so that you can voice your opinion on environmental issues. They often have monthly e-newsletters that you can subscribe to as well.
